The Beginning
Mai Duc began his career in the heritage city of Hoi An. Surrounded by timeless architecture and a slow-paced lifestyle, he developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship.
Working with a diverse range of international clients, he honed his skills in classic barbering while understanding the unique needs of different hair textures and face shapes. It was here that the foundation of The Black Barber philosophy was built: Precision above all else.
2025.
The Evolution
Returning to Da Nang, Mai Duc established The Black Barbershop with a singular vision: to create a space that blends the raw, masculine energy of a traditional shop with the refined service of a modern studio.
Located in An Thuong, the shop is designed for the modern man. Minimalist, dark, and focused. We don't just cut hair; we mold style and shape character.
